Clinton Broyles discovered his love of art at a very early age. He began drawing cartoons while in elementary school and won many local competitions. He started painting in his early teens and has continued in the oil medium.
In 2000, at the age of fifteen, Clinton attended a summer workshop in Salado, Texas, taught by nationally known artist Dalhart Windberg. The following summer, he traveled to Lake City, Colorado where he spent two weeks studying under Windberg and painting in the area. Last summer, Clinton returned to Salado to continue his study concentrating on still-life subjects under Windberg’s direction.  Focusing on sill life and landscape painting, these sessions, combined with long hours back home in the studio, have allowed Clinton to develop a unique style that involves careful attention to detail, color, and composition.
Clinton was born in 1985 in McAllen, Texas. He has lived in Lubbock and Austin, and is presently in the Dallas area. He graduated from high school in May 2003. He studied visual arts and environmental design in the School of Architecture at Texas A&M University. Clinton graduated in the spring of 2007 with a degree in Archituecture from Texas A&M. Upon graduation he began his career as a fulltime professional artist.
