Diane Lee Conner

Growing up in Lafayette, Louisiana, Diane took classical drawing lessons after school from a well-known local artist. After graduating from the College of New Rochelle with a degree in art, she spent a year in Florence, Italy at the Pius XII Institute, completing a Master’s Degree in Art. Since then, she has taken short courses with Wallace Bassford in Charlottesville, Virginia and with Gayle Bennett in Giverney, France as well as with other outstanding artists in St. Francisville, Louisiana.

Diane’s special interests are landscapes and gardens. In her words, “When and wherever I travel, I always have pens, pencils, some sort of colors and a camera with me. Her painting is exciting and emotional.
